Newborn

I had done a little newborn photo shoot when Torsten was just under 2 weeks. Time has flown since then, but here they are! I didn't get quite as many different poses as I'd hoped, he didn't really like being manipulated so much....but I'm happy with what I got!

First tummy time attempt was more than successful, he was a champ!

Happy Mother's Day and 1 Month!

Josh and the girls got me a Macbook right after Torsten was born, so I've slowly been trying to figure it all out and transfer things from my PC so that (along with still getting used to having 3 to take care of) is the main reason for slow blogging lately! I think I've figured things out though!

It was a Happy Mother's Day for me for sure! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, flowers and pictures drawn by the girls. 

Thanks to Josh and these 3 beauties for making me a mama! I'm so grateful for every day I get to spend with these little ones!

And someone is already a month old! How did that go by so fast?

He is still sleeping pretty great at night, doesn't really fuss unless he's hungry, rolled over the other night (maybe a fluke, that's pretty young!) and is having more awake time. Having some smiles but they are hard to catch on camera! He has gained some weight but is really only a few ounces more than he was at birth so still wears newborn clothes and diapers and seems so small compared to the girls! We are loving every minute of this life with 3!

On our own

Well we had to say goodbye to Grandma Peg and Grandpa Steve the other day and be all on our own for the first time since Torsten was born. Grandma Peg arrived the day after he was born and has been helping ever since and then Grandpa Steve joined us last week. So far, on our own has been pretty good, yesterday was a little tougher than today. Torsten and I have both had lots of doctor appointments in the past 3 weeks and he is fine, just wasn't gaining weight. I on the other hand have been trying to fight a sinus infection, throat infection, allergies, asthma and who knows what else. Meds seem to be helping somewhat, but not completely so we'll see what the next week brings. If it doesn't get better soon I'm heading to an ENT doctor. Anyway, hopefully it will all just keep getting easier! 

We attended Gretta's art show at school, we all had to "wear something pretty!"

Gretta's painting is on display on the easel behind her, she wouldn't pose by herself she needed the support of sister!

This past weekend we headed down to Monterey and Big Sur. Stopped by the Monterey Bay Aquarium which we enjoyed almost as much as the girls!

Torsten's pacifier of choice is a finger, much like big sister Gretta.
