Gardenin'

We spent the last couple of days doing some gardening projects.....

We planted some herbs and tomatoes and flowers in pots.

Got a new gardening tool that is TOTALLY worth mentioning and getting its own picture! Much easier for my pregnant self to use than getting down on my hands and knees!! The name alone would make anyone want to buy it.

Cleared out all the creeping charlie and other weeds from our hosta area.....we should probably now fill it in with real plants. Didn't realize how empty it would look once all the other stuff was cleared out!

Gretta was a BIG help and enjoyed it so much!

And wow, "floppies" are probably not the best gardening shoes......oh well, she loved having a mid-day bath!

Gretta showing us how to hold a baby....so gentle!

Putting baby in the stroller....

Bye-Bye!

As you can tell, she is still making some fashion statements. I asked her this morning did she want the purple or blue shirt and she said purple then started to cry when I put the blue one away, so I asked again, purple or blue? She looks at me with those sweet eyes and the head cocked to one side and answered, "Both?"

We've been trying to transition to a big bed, so she does well for naps, but she is still sleeping in the pack and play at night. She really likes the big bed though! It's fun for bouncing.

In basement finishing news, the fireplace is in!
This is looking at it from the living room into the office/bedroom area.

It is 3-sided so this is overlooking the someday family room.

This is what you see when you first walk in.

Happy Mother's Day!

Josh's parents brought us some hostas and so we got those planted and they look great!

We also had our 20 week ultrasound and got to see the baby again, here is the profile. Everything was looking pretty great! As with Gretta, we decided surprises are better and elected not to find out if it is going to be a boy or girl until the little one is born (sorry to those of you who really tried to get us to change our minds!)
