Meanwhile....

We've been around but not doing anything too crazy or exciting and Josh has been working nights, so life has been a little less than ordinary lately. I've been trying to catch up on pictures too, which I now officially am (YAY!!!) and can breathe easier! Here are some random photos, some from my phone because that was all that was handy at the time...

Hike-o-rama

 

So. We went hiking this weekend. Twice!

First hike was to the ocean, more specifically, Wilder State Park in Santa Cruz

Gretta felt the need to be carried in the pack for the first part of our hike

She quickly rediscovered hiking is fun!

The next day we stayed local and went to Mount Diablo State Park and what better to wear then 2 different shoes and socks, all pink clothes including a tulle skirt? All while prancing around singing "Different shoes, I got 2 different shoes, I got 2 different shoes and 2 different socks"

This day was a little cooler weather, but overall what a gorgeous weekend scoping out the nature scene!

A Very Merry Christmas

Grandma made the dress Maggie is wearing for Gretta a couple years ago from an old dress that was either mine or hers. This year she made Gretta a new one out of some more left over material, SO cute!

Take notice, I'm wearing what was left of the dress under a sweater. The dresses were made from the bottom of the dress so the top was still left and I squeezed (literally) into it.

That is Clark's...not Maggie's. She's drooling like its hers though.

A Dora watch?! Hasn't been taken off since, even has worn it to bed on occasion!

Airport antics.....SO there you have it! We are home and happy to be so, back to our own beds and routine and all that good stuff. Plus both girls got sick at the end of the trip, Gretta started it with a barking cough and some bloody noses, now Maggie's ending it! Josh got his PET scan results this week and it looks like there is "no suspicious activity" and he is ready to tackle radiation in a week and a half! 

 

Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and that the new year is as wonderful as can be! We know we look forward to what 2012 has in store for us, but have realized we are finally at the age that we wish it would go slower!
