Thanksgiving Eve....

Well, we've been busy and wanted to post a quick one here before Thanksgiving Day, which there will be pictures from we're sure! We'll be spending it at Josh's parents house.

Unpacking boxes.....

We've been eating many wonderful meals in our dining room!! The table, chairs and hutches are from Josh's Aunt Mary. Painting, doing laundry, settling in....that's what else we've been up to these days. We're feeling more at home every day.

Gretta and Devin hanging out.

Giving Devin a ride.

Before bed.....wearing a sweatshirt. That is the latest funny story of what Gretta has been doing/imitating. Every time I get out a sweatshirt or say I'm going to go get one Gretta goes right to her drawer and gets one too! Even if it means wearing it over her pj's!

Happy Thanksgiving! We'll update with more pictures after tomorrow!

Oh baby....

Gretta and I went to a baby shower this weekend, for my cousins Beth and Laura.

This is Lina Kristine born to Beth and Luke on November 6th!

Here is Gretta with Great-Grandma Glady.....giving the baby doll kisses.

Uncle Scott entertained Emma and Gretta with National Geographic and a weather book!

Gretta having "tea." She was so careful with the real teacup, I was very impressed.

It was a fun shower and we can't wait to see if Laura and Matt have a boy or girl in the next 6 weeks or so!

Hunting weekend

We went up to my parents this weekend and Josh went hunting with his friend Kirk on his parents' land, Josh was the only one in the party who got a deer! My dad hunted on his own land and also got a deer so it was pretty good hunting.

Wearing Grandma Peg's visor.

Luckily my parents no longer have to rake their whole yard, they just have to rake away from things like the rock gardens that they can't get to with the riding mower/vacuum!

Gretta was happy to help!

That's a lot of leaves.

We had to make a big pile and jump in it of course!

The girls had fun outside, painting, making white chili and playing with all my old dolls and toys and dressing up.
