Oh baby....

Gretta and I went to a baby shower this weekend, for my cousins Beth and Laura.

This is Lina Kristine born to Beth and Luke on November 6th!

Here is Gretta with Great-Grandma Glady.....giving the baby doll kisses.

Uncle Scott entertained Emma and Gretta with National Geographic and a weather book!

Gretta having "tea." She was so careful with the real teacup, I was very impressed.

It was a fun shower and we can't wait to see if Laura and Matt have a boy or girl in the next 6 weeks or so!

Hunting weekend

We went up to my parents this weekend and Josh went hunting with his friend Kirk on his parents' land, Josh was the only one in the party who got a deer! My dad hunted on his own land and also got a deer so it was pretty good hunting.

Wearing Grandma Peg's visor.

Luckily my parents no longer have to rake their whole yard, they just have to rake away from things like the rock gardens that they can't get to with the riding mower/vacuum!

Gretta was happy to help!

That's a lot of leaves.

We had to make a big pile and jump in it of course!

The girls had fun outside, painting, making white chili and playing with all my old dolls and toys and dressing up.

Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween to You!

This was Gretta's first Halloween where she was actually able to walk around and trick or treat, she LOVED it! She loved her costume too, we were pretty surprised.

Little Red Riding Hood, wants her hood on!

Look at me!

All ready to go

What a haul!

Figured out getting up on the stool gets her closer to candy.

Mmmmmm.....

Yea!! This is a fun holiday!

Comfy cozy aftermath

All cuddled up with her Cabbage Patch Doll, Janice.
She got her first doll from Seth and Kim (thank you!) last Christmas and we finally broke her out of the box! She has been having quite a fun time cuddling her, giving hugs, kissing her and feeding her.

High heels and trucks

Gretta loves to put on everyone's shoes, but she pulled the high heels out one day and I had to capture it.

She also loves to play with the tupperware.

Her belly button is her best friend

We have met most of our new neighbors and they are all so nice, some even brought cookies tonight! Gretta was pretty happy....and so was I!

Grandma Rachel brought a stuffed pumpkin last weekend and had it under her shirt when she came in so now that is how Gretta plays with it.

She also loves trucks and cars and a couple of them go on their own and she loves having us make them go and then she will go collect them, all at once of course!

Happy Fall!

We had a beautiful fall weekend and Gretta enjoyed running around in the leaves.

New House!

Gretta was a lot of help in our moving process along with Mom Paulson, Mom and Dad Hinz, Meghan and Joel and our realtor and friend Dave. Thanks everyone!!

Gretta was also helping with the curtain hanging process.....

Telling Josh where they should go.

Thanks Josh for all your hard work, I know I made you do a lot! We had to hang curtains in every room so he probably never wants to hear the word CURTAIN again.

We're home!!

1 and a 1/2!!!

Here she is 1 and 1/2 already, weighing in it at 25 lbs 10 oz and 32 1/2 inches tall...we had her check up the other day, which confirmed what we already knew, she's a healthy, happy toddler!

Here's my nose.

Here's my eye.

and my ear.

What's that stinky smell?
(She knows more body parts too, but we'll spare you the pictures of every one)

Likes to color....

Loves to run....

LOVES to talk and tell stories....

If you noticed the little mark under her eye, she had a run in with Clark the puppy the other day when they were playing outside, he nipped her a little bit but she is doing fine, recovered quite well and he is still her little buddy!
