On the road again.....

We are pretty sure we will be heading to Australia in the near future, no date set, but we're excited to get another experience abroad, especially somewhere we've always wanted to go! About all we know right now is that it will be for 3 months to start and that we'll be in the city of Perth. So, we were watching a video on Australia the other day and let Gretta watch some of it, there was a man playing the didgeridoo,
which is a musical instrument native to Australia.

Well apparently she really absorbed that part of the video because here she is at supper that night. She improvised with her spoon and of course wanted us to join in.

Oh what fun a toddler can be!

Here's one from when Jeff and Angelie were home for Christmas, Gretta had to try on Angelie's 4 (maybe 3?) inch heels! She could walk quite well in them!

What else goes well with my outfit? A dress over my clothes, a baseball hat and sunglasses of course!

Um....mascara? She wasn't very happy with the results either.

We headed to the Children's Museum this past weekend.

Fun in the winter.....

She really loves dressing up lately.

Which has resulted in some interesting choices.

The gang's all here...some of her favorite friends.

They have to be in her crib when she sleeps (and not just one of them, all of them!) Sometimes they come with places too.

The puppy has made a visit to the library, the baby and Janice came to the grocery store.

Ballerina!

Our friend Laura made Gretta a tutu for Christmas and I couldn't resist posting some pictures......

She likes playing dress up and frequently is finding things in our closet, wearing my shoes and carrying my purses. Today she completed the outfit with sunglasses on her head and my headbands as necklaces!

Exhausted.

Still working on Christmas pics, but these were too cute and I had to put them up pronto.

Happy New Year!

Quite possibly this is the longest I've gone without blogging! It was the holidays, as everyone knows and it was a whirlwind, but it included Josh being home for 2 weeks so we've been enjoying that. I'll take the time to update more later but for now we just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope you enjoyed your Christmas wherever it was! For now, here's a quick picture of Gretta with one of her many new gifts (a play laptop of course!) More to follow.....

Visits and sledding

Uncle Joel and Auntie Meghan stopped by for dinner the other night, Gretta enjoyed getting beard tickles from Uncle Joel.

And playing with Clark of course!

We took Gretta sledding today for the first time......

The pictures are not showing her saying "NO" a lot, but we have a little video that does.....we think it was mostly because it was around nap time that we went! We'll just have to try again another time!

Snow! (a post by Gretta)

Ma-Ma and Da-Da took me shopping to get some boots so I can have fun in the snow!

Tested 'em outside with Da-Da

They kept my feet warm and toasty and they look pretty good too, huh?!

For now....

Gretta has found mittens quite fun to wear! Inside.

She loved decorating the tree!

The other morning we saw 5 deer in the woods in our backyard, then they went through our backyard into the neighbors and across the street.

More fun with mittens, this is what she did when we tried to get her to do thumbs UP.

Grandma Peg helps.

HUGS!!!

Here is a video of some dancing Gretta, she also is attempting to snap her fingers.....have to say, its pretty cute.
