Gretta is adoring her little sister and wants to hold her all the time which resulted in them napping together the other day!

Surprise!!

We welcomed another little girl 3 weeks early!

Margaret Rachel......we'll call her Maggie.

Josh's grandma Edna's middle name was Margaret and is Jess's mom's baptismal name and Rachel is after Josh's mom. (I am sure there is all sorts of grammatical mistakes with apostrophes in this sentence so excuse my english!)

Gretta is loving her little sister!

We are so excited and happy to have another little girl in the family!

State Fair and Tubin'

Apparently it was a record-breaking crowd on Thursday when we went, but it sure didn't seem as crowded to us compared to some other years we've gone. The weather was absolutely perfect too, finally!!

Gretta was very observant this year....quiet and just wanting to sit back and take it all in.

We went with our friends Kirk and Melissa who then got engaged the next day!! CONGRATS!

Tractors of course are always fun.

That night we went out tubing with some friends and their 2 boys, we've gotten to go out with them a few times but this is the first time Gretta got to go tubing! She LOVED it and wanted "more" and "faster!"

She also enjoyed waving at us back in the boat.

Baby's room

Nesting has been on my mind lately so I broke out the sewing stuff......

Sewed some curtains

and cribskirt!

Josh did a beautiful job painting a couple weeks ago.

So now it is complete except for hanging a few more pictures once baby gets here.

Gretta's happy, so hopefully baby will be too!

and we're waiting.......just waiting.....some of us maybe not so patiently....

What's goin' on!

So in the past week or so we had a visit from Ben and Abby, Gretta loves the little guy!

Ben wanted to give baby a hug....I stole these 2 pics from Abby, because they were so cute.

Gretta has been enjoying the garden cherry tomatoes, she gets VERY excited when they are ready to pick! Here is a little video of her and at the end is how she figured out to get up to the counter by herself....

And wearing raspberries on her fingers and scarfing them down.

With only 6 weeks (give or take) left until baby could be here, I convinced Josh it was time to set up the crib.

Gretta has been trying out the carseat to make sure the baby will like it.

She also was super helpful in putting the crib together!

The hot days continue

Gretta loves to help clean....

We can only hope she feels the same way in 10 years or so!

We headed out this past weekend to our friend Laura's cabin. Devin and Gretta took boat driving very seriously.
