Wintery winter

Started Maggie on some rice cereal this week, forgot how messy that can be......

Our friends Dave and Sarah invited us to come to a little fun in the snow today, they went on the sleds....

Gretta got a s'more by the bonfire, pretty sure this was her favorite part.

Although for a moment she did like sliding on the ice after she saw Dave and Sarah's niece partake in the activity of course.

Only in MN would people mini golf on a frozen lake.....

or play basketball on previously mentioned frozen lake! (Slam dunk by Gretta with help from Dave)

The Wild mascot was there too!

Thanks for a fun day guys! Maggie seemed to show she is a true Minnesotan and didn't make a peep the whole time we were out!

Pretty girls

Gretta and I had a little mom and daughter time at a friends' jewelry party, she LOVED it!

Oh my! First pigtails at 4 1/2 months......

She maybe didn't like them that much in the end..

Gretta was a YEAR and 4 months before she could get any pigtails! Gretta's was longer in back though and Maggie's is mostly up front.

Because Maggie LOVES to stand, we went on craigslist and found her a bit of an obnoxious looking toy.
Introducing the exersaucer! She is enjoying being able to stand and play!

Today Gretta got some daddy and daughter time at the boat show! A girl who loves jewelry and boats? Hmmm...we might be in for trouble later!!

Randomness

Well, here are some more pictures! They say pictures are worth a thousand words, right? So I shouldn't really have to come up with witty things to say.....! Here is a little video as well of the girls laughing, Maggie just started laughing when she gets tickled and its hilarious. Maybe in the next post I'll get to the basement and post a final look at that!

On our way to Christmas at Josh's parents wearing her red coat.

New puppy slippers!

An easel from Grandma and Grandpa, she LOVES it!

The grandparents at Maggie's baptism.

Godparents Auntie Angelie and Uncle Jeff and cousin Petra

Sleeping with her shades on driving to my Aunt and Uncle's.

Swimming at my Aunt and Uncle's for Christmas on my dad's side.

Some of the Great-Grandkids

More fun outfits from our in-house fashion designer. She's talking on the phone to Papa, (one of the Grandpa's) she wouldn't specify which one, telling him about her outfit and that she's sitting in the window.

Maggie fell asleep like this one afternoon.

Gretta doing my hair....isn't it so pretty?

Four Months and a Happy New Year!

One other time when I got a little behind on blogging a wise friend told me to just slap up some pictures and with all that has happened in the last month, I think that is probably the best advice right now!

Maggie turned 4 months old, she had her first Christmas, got baptized, rung in a new year, throw in finishing the basement and the holidays in general and that is one BUSY month!!

Can you get any cuter than reindeer feet pajamas??

Merry Christmas!

We had a fun and very busy Christmas weekend and the weeks leading up to it as well. We (mostly Josh and his friends) got our basement finished, we hosted Christmas for my family and had Maggie's baptism. More pictures to come!
