7 months!!

I'm 7 months old today!

Yea, mom tried to keep this away from me all through the shoot, but I finally outsmarted her!

Just thinking.....

On our way out to Colorado Gretta started exploring religion.....

She continues to with one of her library book picks yesterday ("Hanukkah Lights" if you can't tell).

Crazy!

Maggie's hair has gotten so long she tends to get food in it, so I decided to put it in a ponytail to keep it out of her food.

This is what happened when I took the ponytail out.....Crazy Hair Girl!!

Expect picture overload in the next couple weeks.....because Maggie will be 7 months this week and Gretta's 3rd birthday is coming up the week after! Time goes SO fast! Yikes.

Watch out California, here we come!

We are making a big move!!! Josh accepted a new job and this summer we will be heading west and making our home in the Bay Area!

His office will be in Concord so we'll be looking all around there for our new home.

It is going to be a little bittersweet as he'll be traveling a lot less so we'll get to spend more time together as a family, but we will be leaving lots of family and friends and a house we love behind in MN! We'll definitely be back to visit though as much as we can and hopefully people will want to come visit us too! We'll be close to many things besides the Golden Gate Bridge!

P.S. Within a few days of her first tooth, #2 came in! She'll be ready for steak in no time!

First date, first tooth!

Through the power of cropping....(notice Gretta at the bottom left) and grandparents....we got away for a night!!

To Chanhassen Dinner Theater! It was a great treat from Josh's parents to take the girls for the night and send us to I Do! I Do! Great show, and our first date in....well, at least 6 months.

 

Maggie got her first tooth yesterday! She's pointing at it right here....

We wondered why all the fuss this week. Guess we got that figured out now!

Colorado....oh Colorado....

First, just have to add a couple more of Maggie, because she was extra cuteness this afternoon! Personality is starting to emerge.....

Now, on to our trip!

We had the most wonderful time in Boulder, it was a break from the neverending winter here and it was so much fun to spend time with family! Petra and Gretta were the best of friends and did I mention it was nice to get away from winter? It was in the high 50s all week (is it a little sad that high 50s was glorious?) and they don't really have much of that white stuff. Josh got to spend 3 days skiing in Breckenridge while the girls and I stayed with Jeff, Angelie & Petra, so before he headed out for skiing......

Did you notice I'm not even wearing a coat? WONDERFUL.

We also went to the library and took in some story time. Super cool building!

Had to go to the park of course! We've been missing ours....its covered in, yep, SNOW.

A man-face beetle at the Butterfly Pavillion.

The girls LOVED the butterflies and chased them all around.

And also watched carefully.....

Beautiful mountains, lots of good food, good company and lots of fun! We drove out and the girls were great in the car. It was our first long road trip with kids and it went really well so we definitely would do it again! What more can we say?

6 months...a little late!

Well, since February is a short month I didn't know when Maggie was officially 6 months old, plus we were out in Colorado so we have been a little behind on things! So here are a few 6 month pictures and hopefully I'll get through our Colorado pictures soon and post some of our trip....oh was it fun!!!

Can't believe its half a year already!!! She is growing fast of course....
