The trip

 Had to stop at Wall Drug of course, Josh had some 5 cent coffee and we shared some donuts!

We then stopped in Spearfish to visit Seth and Kim and watch Seth cut down big trees, but failed to take pictures.....

Farewell MN, Hello CA

YES, it has been a long time, but I have a great excuse....we were on the road for a week! We are officially living in CA now and so far, its been interesting. The moving truck broke down and so we don't have our stuff and luckily Josh had come out to close on the house earlier in September and brought a few necessities with him, but basically we're living in an empty house! I guess there could be worse things, at least we have a house! However, I think its been a little rough on the girls being in this empty place and without the familiar surroundings, then they both got runny noses pretty much as soon as we arrived so that hasn't helped either! In other health-related news, Josh found out right before we left that he has to have 4 more treatments of chemo so he got one before we left and will have the last 3 here in CA. His progress so far is really good, they just want to be sure its gone before radiation!

I only have a few pictures to post today, but promise to post more soon! Kim and Seth got married a few days before we left so here are some pictures from their big day, they aren't my best work and I'm kind of kicking myself for that but there are a few cute ones. The girls were ADORABLE! Kim and Seth didn't look too bad either....hahaha!

Here's the truck getting packed up. Wow was it nice having someone else do that for us! There were definitely tears as we pulled away, but we won't talk about that.....

We'll miss you dearly MN, you'll always be in our hearts, we'll visit as often as we can and who knows, maybe someday we'll move back!

My cup runneth over

Fall is pretty much my favorite season and I'm going to miss it a lot! We have been taking it in and enjoying it immensely and MN has really been showing off.....it must sense we're leaving!

We took in an apple orchard with Josh's parents on a balmy 80 degree day.....

  Oh boy, do Maggie and Gretta love apples!

This past weekend wasn't quite as warm, but still wonderful enough to go hiking at Whitewater State Park with Molly, Elden and Matthias! After a near fall down a hill Gretta was quite relieved to make it to the top and get her snack....

This weather has been knocking us out with all its glory and the colors, oh the colors! Just want to send a mental thank you to MN for sending us off with a perfect fall! We're counting down the days now, we move out to California this month!! The picture taking slacking has continued over here, but today SCREAMED at me to take pictures in the leaves! So now, without further ado, here you go, the fall edition....
