Knitting projects

My knitting project! While my mom was here she taught me to knit and this is what I made for Maggie.

And my mom made this hat with a matching scarf for Gretta!

She also crotcheted all the flowers for our hats (according to Gretta we all had to have one!)

She helped me with my hat and I can spot a few mistakes, but I think I got the hang of things when knitting Maggie's!

 

Thanks for the lessons mom!! They all turned out adorable!

Yosemite weekend

We saw all sorts of weather and scenery in Yosemite this trip!

Grandma Peggy's last weekend here was certainly breathtaking! Such a fun time in the wilderness!

 

The next Olympic swimmer....this girl would not sit still, thought she could swim on her own!

 

The girls each (had to get 2 of course) got a bear purse.....I think Gretta loves hers a little.

In Mariposa Grove, the giant sequoias were grand as ever. This is The Bachelor and 3 Graces.

Got her up on skis for the first time!

 

After some fun, we decided to leave those 30+ inches of snow behind and head home!

Some more fun

Got to show Grandma the zoo and we brought a picnic and rode the train this time! 

The train takes you through the "Australian Outback" where we saw Wallaroos and Emus.

Welcome Home Daddy! After a 3 week trip to Australia the girls were SO excited for him to come home! 

Gretta's typical hello....pretending she's not excited to see you, even though the first thing she said when she woke up that morning was It's DADDY DAY!!

Reasons...

 

Reason #3

Grandma Peg is visiting! Had to take her up to Point Reyes of course! The weather has been beautiful and we've gotten to see many things so far with a few more things up our sleeves.....

 

 

Reason #2

The #1 reason I cannot possibly be mad when on this particular night neither girl would go to bed in their own bed and only in our bed. I mean seriously.....could they get any freaking cuter?! Speaking of cute.....

PUPPIES! Grandma and Grandpa's dog Rascal had puppies!  I can't take credit for the pics but I got these off Grandma's camera!

I don't know my name yet since Grandpa has changed his mind every day and I'm kind of confused if I'm Macy, Winnie, Brie, Alex or Cheddar Puff.
