Torsten, 8 months and Road Trip: Part 3

Well, it was technically on Saturday that Torsten turned 8 months but I kind of forgot to post pictures over the weekend so there is really going to be a mother load of pictures in this post.
You're welcome ;)

This one reminds me sooooo much of Gretta!

And here is the last and final part of the trip…..loads more pictures!!! So here we go….Utah! Zion National Park, Moab, Arches and a visit from Jeff and Petra. Going to date myself here in this statement, but hopefully this wasn't like watching an old fashioned slideshow of boring pictures from your neighbors vacation…..

Using their hands as binoculars…

I've been trying to get out from behind the camera a little more!

Just like his sisters, being barefoot is a preference in life.

Decided to let Maggie drive for a while.

While Torsten directed from the back.

Goodbye Moab!

Hello Salt Lake City, we went to the Natural History Museum before making our way home.

This place was SOOO cool!!

Wanting to take their shoes off to dig for dinosaur fossils.

Our last stop was Lake Tahoe. Beautiful day for some hiking and picnic lunch on the mountain!

And as Gretta likes to say at the end of a story she's telling...
That's all!

Road Trip: Part 2

When we left Vegas we were off to Sedona and it was a little rainy but still managed some hiking!

Also did some fun (for Josh) driving. We proved that the Honda Pilot can handle some pretty rough stuff!

And the views were incredible.

So worth the rough roads!

Then we were off to the Grand Canyon.

Attempt at a family picture. Maggie wasn't really wanting to cooperate.

This one was better!
The last part of the trip will be next!

Road trip: Part 1

On our road trip to Utah, we made it to Las Vegas the first night.

The girls stayed entertained by napping, coloring, puzzles and books on CD. Their other form of entertainment was saying "I'm still hungry" and asking "When are we going to be there?" Torsten mostly slept and only fussed when we were about to stop, as if he knew it was time! All in all though, they all did a fantastic job!!

Stopped by Hoover Dam, it was a rainy, windy, cold day there. So we didn't stay too long!

Sleeping.

Stopped by this kitschy little shop on, ……yep, you guessed it, Route 66.

I don't know what it was about this guy, but he just needed to have his picture taken.

"Maggie, come here, lets read the holy bible." (and The Book of Mormon) Their favorite thing to do at hotels besides the pool and playing "friend" on the phones.

to be continued…..
