March Madness!

No, not basketball, just busy with life! I realized this past weekend that it had been a while since I blogged, so I started going through some pictures and realized I've got a bunch of random moments which are my favorite. They tell the story of our day to day life and help me remember what we've been up to.

Auntie Meghan and Uncle Joel are visiting from MN right now. Today they're up in Napa enjoing the wine country so I thought I better sneak in a quick post while they're gone. We have also have more visitors coming later this month/early next month, a certain little girl who will be turning 6 soon and a little boy who is soon to be 1!!!

I've been busy working on a new website and doing a couple photo shoots for other people. I've always enjoyed taking pictures for other people and for myself, but now that Josh hasn't been traveling as much we decided it was time I start up what I've been wanting to do for a while, a photography business! I did a photoshoot this fall for a family in the neighborhood, word kind of got out and I've done a couple more recently so I'm hoping to make a go of it and see where it takes me! Will keep you updated. Anyway, here are some random photos of the past few weeks.....

As always, we've been having fun at the park.  Its been nice finally being able to let Torsten play instead of just sitting in a swing or pack and surprisingly, even though he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, he has not put sand in (so far), he is content to just play in it!

Its also been so fun lately watching these 3 interact and play together more and more every day!

This one gives me a glimpse into the future.....

Oh these sisters.

Joshua Tree 3.0

As you may recall, we went to Joshua Tree way back when I was pregnant with Maggie.

Not the exact same backdrop, but close enough. Had to recreate the pic now that she was out of my belly. When we were standing there she said she wanted to go back in my belly where it was warm.
Two kids later we returned and met our friends Dave, Sarah and their little guy Tanner and had so much fun!

Joshua and Torsten Joshua in Joshua Tree.

Gretta was actually all for posing for pictures so we got quite a few of her!

Maggie was a little less enthusiastic, but we got some anyway!

Not planned, but they sure were cute in their matching pi's!
We rented a house and it was so nice to have the space, make all our meals and put the kids to bed and still be able to visit!

Big Horn, just for us on our last day in the park, at sunset no less!

Thanks for the fun visit guys!

Torsten, 10 months

Better late than never they say! We went down to Joshua Tree to meet some friends this past weekend and left on Friday so I didn't get pictures taken on the exact day Torsten turned 10 months. That's not to say I didn't take a picture of him that day, it just wasn't his "official" 10 month photo shoot that I usually get done when the month turns. So today, while the girls were at school, we got a few more pictures taken and now I can call it done.

Here's the one I took on the 14th.

This is how he felt most of the time about getting pictures taken....."I'm outta here!"

February kick off

We went into San Francisco a couple weekends ago to show the sites to Josh's coworker here from Australia. We went to the overlook of the city and bridge and then down to Pier 39 and enjoyed some seafood. It was a little chilly, but a clear day so it was great for seeing the city!

First time we've had all the kids to see the Golden Gate. Maggie was not impressed.

MN representing. Thanks Abby for this t-shirt that Gretta has been wearing for 2 years now. I can't believe it still fits! Also, if you haven't noticed by now, when she likes something she wears it. Til. It. Dies. This one is actually holding up well though and maybe Maggie will get to wear it. Unlike a certain striped sundress......

The sea lions of Pier 39.

And can't forget about our random photos of just every day life. Here's Maggie falling asleep with her popcorn in her lap, not for the first time.

Maggie and Torsten being silly putting pants on their heads.

Torsten showing off his teeth! He's up to 4 teeth now, 2 on bottom and 2 on top. Looks like another one is coming in on top as well.

We also had our first guests of the year! Grandma Rachel and Grandpa Fred made it out here and we had a fantastic time in Yosemite and just hanging out at home. All the kids got to enjoy some one on one time with the grandparents and they enjoyed every minute of it!

Her treat choice after hiking.....Nutella. Of course.

Maggie was in the pack with Josh so she didn't want to get out. Realized just now editing that I don't have any pics with all the kids and Grandma and Grandpa. Darn it!
