Now summer's really almost over!

Remember all those pictures I was trying to catch up on from waaaaay back in December? FINALLY got them all edited and uploaded online and then apparently I kind of stopped taking pictures. Haha! Just kidding, I'd never stop taking pictures, but definitely haven't been taking many. We've just been enjoying our last days of summer! Gretta starts school MONDAY as a big first grader! So I'm sure I'll have some a million pictures of that. In the meantime here are a few random things we've done. 

One big thing that happened around here was that the yard has gotten quite a new look!

The good 'ol before shot.....we've always disliked those circles, or crop circles as I fondly dubbed them.

All of it was very entertaining for these 3!

They also poured a nice big patio out back, so soon I will have some more finished pictures of both spaces!

We did some guinea pig-sitting for friends and Torsten was fascinated!

Some one on one time with Maggie while Torsten was sleeping and Gretta was at camp. Both girls got to enjoy some camp time these last few weeks. Gretta had art camp and gymnastics camp and Maggie had a storybook camp. They both LOVED it!

We also took a little trip to Sausalito, walked around and had some lunch and then this happened....ICE CREAM. So good!

Then the kids got some little virus/colds and things like this happened.

It didn't keep them down for long though.

We got to make it out to movies in the park and see Rio, very cute!

Back into the mischief 

We got Josh a hammock for his birthday and the kids have been LOVING it!

Especially the girls who think its fun to enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks....or anything in there.

Finally, I got brave and gave all 3 kids a haircut, I have cut the girls' many times before, but decided to give Torsten's a try too and it went well! Now they're all looking pretty darn good and not as scraggly.

MN Summer Road Trip

Here is the road trip in all its glory!

Before we get to the road trip portion, the day we left something important happened.....Gretta finished kindergarten!

and then summer was almost over?!

Well, we were driving and in MN for close to a month, so that's my excuse for not blogging! As usual haven't gotten through the multitude of pictures yet so we're going to just give you a glimpse of what we've been doing in the week we've been back home!

The rest of the summer is pretty open. A couple camps coming up in August for each of the girls and probably more pool and park time. Hopefully some more work on the backyard too! 

Torsten got his first ride in the grocery car, thank you Maggie for letting him have a turn!

And just today this happened......that would be a toilet seat stuck on his head. He looks ready to be a big brother right? Oh yes, that's right, baby #4 is due in November!! 

Speaking of babies, we welcomed another niece to the family last week! Congrats to Josh's brother Seth and wife Kim on baby Harper Mary! Wish we could have met her when we stopped through, but she had other plans, like staying in mama's belly until we were gone. ;) 

Summer's almost here!

Well weather wise summer is definitely here, but Gretta still has 4 days left of school. Maggie finished up last week! We've been spending time at the pool and parks and just looking forward to not having to rush around in the mornings to get to school (at least for a couple months)!

Maggie likes to fight naps most days (or as we call it these days "a rest") but after the fight she's sleeping within minutes! So its obvious that even though she proclaims she is NOT tired, she most certainly is.
