Let summer begin!

The climbing wall was just a warm up......she can climb stairs by herself now and is also letting go of furniture when she's standing up.

Also included in our summer plans is dealing with a little bad news about Josh's health. He had a lump on his neck checked out a couple of weeks ago and after some tests, biopsies and scans it has been diagnosed as Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The good news is that his scans and bone marrow biopsy came back clear, which means it is only in his neck. We are waiting on the lymph node biopsy final results but it sounds like it is in stage 2, which the oncologist informed us is curable, so a little more good news. We were happy to learn that if given the diagnosis of cancer, this is the one you'd actually want to have.

He begins chemo this week so in preparation for that, he decided a haircut was in order!  

The true test of a good looking man......he still looks good even without hair! (LOVE YOU husband!)

Maggie seems to like it too!

We will try to keep everyone updated on how Josh is feeling and how treatment is going. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

We had another wonderful year at Whippoorwill, although our week was a little shorter this time, we're grateful for the time we did get to spend with everyone!

Sorry, we've been a little MIA lately! Josh got back from a month away in Australia so we've been just enjoying time with him!

Little reaction to the mosquitos though! They really thought she was a sweet treat. She's doing much better now, luckily it looks worse than it was, she didn't seem to bothered by it and thought it felt funny when she tried to eat or drink!
