Hello out there

I was going to post a silly video, since we really haven't been doing too many exciting things lately and I guess I just don't think to take pictures of us going to the park daily....but here are are a few totally random pictures that can tide you over for a day or two....the video was taking forever, so maybe in a couple days I'll get it on here...

Road Trip #?!

Headed "up north" this weekend to Point Reyes, absolutely beautiful!

Found some crazy birds on the beach....

and black sand that was SO sticky!

After spending the night in Point Reyes, we were off to Mendcocino the next day.

What a cute little seaside town!

 

Gretta found this heart-shaped puddle and wanted pictures!!

And a little clam chowda and fresh sourdough bread, tasty!

Little further to Fort Bragg and Glass Beach. Used to be a dump site in the 60s! Glass bottles get all broken and tossed around in the surf and come up as smooth and pretty stones. There was also still signs of other trash! Can't believe people actually did that!

 

Saw some sunset action on our way home going through Napa

 

This was such a gorgeous weekend, couldn't have asked or more perfect weather, scenery or company!!

The Great Hat Brigade

 

Can you tell they're sisters? Oh this sweater....love it! And a matching hat? Of course! These were knitted with love by Grandma Peggy. Saw it in the closet the other day and thought hey, Maggie is now about the same age Gretta was when I did pictures of her in it!

 

I will disguise myself....with a MUSTACHE! Mwaahahaha!

Be our guests, part II

Josh's parents were here last week, they came the same day Jeff and Petra left, so we've been busy! Gretta got to show them her school, we went to the zoo, had a tour of Alcatraz, visited Chinatown, made some great meals, got to go out on a date by ourselves and in general had a fabulous time! Took lots of pictures but whittled it down to the main attractions which were the zoo and Alcatraz!

We ended their visit showing them the girls favorite park! Thanks for a great time!
